Arise, awake and stop not till the goal is reached

After my primary education at Sonamukhy, my elder brother 'Sunil' got transferred from Block Development office to Sub Divisional Office at Bishnupur. Here I got admission at Krittibas Mukherjee High school in class V. I continued in this school till I passed out my Higher Secondary examination. I also got admitted to Ramananda College in science stream in pass course. Within 3 months of my admission to the college, my brother again got transferred to Bankura Dist. Head office. As a consequence, I had to withdraw from college. I could have continued attending the college in Bishnupur by commuting from Bankura to Bishnupur but expenses were forbidden for my family. My brother tried to get me admitted to Bankura Christian college but two factors were against my admission. The first one was my marks in science stream and the second one it was already late for admission. I also took a vow if I do not study, I too am not going to do any job in the meantime. Thus, I whiled away two years from 1971 end to 1973 June, till I got admission at Bankura Sanmilani college in Commerce stream with Accountancy (Honours). During these two intervening years, my mother forced me to join a printing press bringing out a monthly district journal.
